The American Railway Engineering and Maintenance of Way Association (AREMA) Educational Foundation is pleased to announce the availability of the Michael R. Garcia Scholarship to a railway engineering student who has a potential interest in railway engineering career.

The scholarship is in the amount of $1000 and will apply to the coming academic year.

Applicants must be enrolled as students in a four or five year program leading to a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology in a curriculum which has been accredited by the Accreditation Board of Engineering and Technology, (or comparable accreditation in Canada and Mexico). This scholarship is for students who are married and/or are supporting a family while enrolled as a student.
