The Being an American Essay Contest is open to high school
students between the ages of 13 and 19. To enter, you must compose a
maximum 1000 - word essay on the following topic: "How does the
Constitution establish and maintain a culture of liberty?" The essay
must be submitted by your teacher to be considered.
