The Blacknews.com Scholarship is available to undergraduate and graduate
students who attend or plan to attend a school in the United States. One
or both of your parents must be African-American and you must submit a
500-word essay on why you think the response to Hurricane Katrina was so
slow.
Submissions must be e-mailed to scholarship@blacknews.com. Essays
submitted through postal mail will NOT be considered. Please visit the
