The BlackNews.com Spring 2008 Scholarship Essay Contest is available
to African-American students. One or both of your parents must be
African-American. You must be a United States resident and attend or
plan to attend a trade school, college or university in the US to be
eligible for this award. To enter you must submit a 500 word essay
answering the question "Why is there a need to have the Black
press?"
