The Brown and Caldwell Minority Scholarship is open to full-time minority
students who are in their junior year of study. You must have a minimum
3.0 GPA and be a declared major in one of the following areas: civil,
chemical or environmental engineering, environmental sciences, geology,
hydrogeology, biology, ecology, public health, or industrial hygiene
toxicology. You must also be a United States citizen or permanent resident
and be able to commit to an eight-week summer internship. In addition, you
must provide a 250-word essay on the topic " Why I chose to major in one
of the environmental disciplines."
