Description:
Eligible for the "CBAI Foundation Scholarship for the Children of Community Banking" are the children of CBAI member banks' employees and directors, plus part-time employees of eligible banks.

Each year, the Foundation awards a $4,000 scholarship to a child of a contributing member bank's employee, director, or officer -or- a part-time bank employee who is entering his or her freshman year of undergraduate school. The scholarship is $1,000 per year for up to four years of higher education if the child remains eligible via grades and full-time student status.

Eligible Banks: CBAI member banks contributing or pledging a cumulative minimum of $1,000 to the Foundation.

Eligible Students: The children of eligible CBAI-member bank employees, directors, and officers -or- a part-time bank employee who are entering their freshman year of undergraduate school or post-high school trade school as a full-time student.

Submission: A bank can submit one student's name for each $1,000 contributed or pledged to the Foundation. (e.g., $1,000 = 1 name, $2,000 = two names, etc.) Contributions are cumulative and applied from the establishment of the Foundation.
