DAAD sponsors academic information visits to Germany by groups of
college and university students accompanied by a faculty member. Study
visit funding is intended to encourage academic contacts with
institutions, groups, and individuals in Germany to offer insight into
academic, scientific, economic, political, and cultural current issues.
DAAD provides a stipend of $35 per day for 7-12 days, for 10-15
students; participants may be drawn from more than one institution,
preference is given to groups with a homogeneous academic background.
