Scholarship Description

Applicants must:

-Be a U.S. resident
-Be a current high school junior at time of application
-Have a cumulative grade point average for the 9th and 10th grade years only of at least 2.75 on a 4.0 scale, and
-Be enrolled in and will be graduating from an accredited U.S. high school (homeschooled students and students attending a U.S. Base high school on a military base outside the U.S. are also eligible.

Judging is based on outstanding achievements in areas beyond academics. In addition to meeting the eligibility qualifications, applicants must demonstrate accomplishments in Leadership, Community Service and Obstacle(s) Overcome.

Winners may use the scholarships for enrollment and tuition, fees, books, supplies and equipment required for course instruction at accredited post–high school training institutions. These scholarships help pay for training that leads to certification in a trade, career preparation in a technical school, graduation from a two-year college or a degree from a four-year university.
