The Dr. W. Wes Eckenfelder Jr. Scholarship is open to full-time students enrolled in their junior year who are majoring in one of the following areas with a minimum 3.0 GPA: civil, chemical or environmental engineering, environmental science, geology, hydrogeology, biology, ecology, public health, or industrial hygiene toxicology. You must also be a United States citizen or permanent resident. In addition to your application you must provided a 250-word essay on the topic " Why I chose to major in one of the environmental disciplines."
