The Famous People and Their Work Scholarship Contest
is available to students who are enrolled at an
accredited high school, two-year, four-year college or
university in the U.S. You must submit a paper that
you have written dealing with a famous person who has
made a contribution to our lives and society. You must
also be a student in "good standing" and have a
minimum 3.0 GPA. This award will be given for what is
judged to be the best biographical paper about a
person and their work. Your selection is also based on
quality background research and effective
communication in writing.
