Description
Since 1990, the Fabricators & Manufacturers Association
Foundation has awarded scholarships annually to students in courses of
study that may lead to careers in manufacturing. The scholarships are
an exclusive member benefit of FMA and its technology affiliate, the
Tube & Pipe Association, International (TPA). Because manufacturing
engineers, management, and skilled tradespeople are such an important
part of the work force, the FMA Foundation's board of directors seeks
to encourage talented students to pursue careers in manufacturing
fields.
Eligibility - To apply, you must be:
A full-time student with a minimum GPA of 3.0, enrolled in an
engineering or manufacturing-related course of study that may lead to
a career in manufacturing; and
a member of FMA or TPA; or
the child of a member; or
the employee of a member company; or
the child of a member company's employee.
*Membership must have begun by January 1 of the award year. (To verify
your membership status, please call FMA and TPA customer service at
815-399-8775).
To apply, you must submit a completed application form and requested
transcripts by the application deadline. Download full eligibility
guidelines and applications at the FMA Foundation Web Site:
