The Frank L. Howard Undergraduate Fellowship is available to undergraduate students enrolled as a full-time, degree-seeking student pursuing a course of study in plant pathology or related fields in the biological sciences. This award is to support plant pathology-related research to be conducted over a minimum of one summer or school term during the upcoming academic year. Selection will be based on an excellent academic background, strong motivation and interest in research, good preparation for conduct of research, research program with potential scientific merit and an appropriate time frame, and appropriate facilities for the proposed work. You must submit a research proposal outlining your objectives, experimental approach, discussion, and budget details to be considered for this award.
