The Gloria and Joseph Mattera National Scholarship for Migrant Children is
available to migrant farmworker youth who have the potential and desire to
further their education to achieve their personal and career goals. You
must have a recent history of movement for agricultural employment, with
priority given to interstate migrant youth, and demonstrate financial need
and scholastic potential to be considered for this award. You must also be
enrolled or accepted at an accredited public or private college, technical
or vocational schools, or a dropout or potential dropout from high school
who shows promise of ability to continue schooling. A recommendation and
an essay are also required.
