The History Channel's Save Our History National Honors Contest is available to high school students who attend a public, private or home school within the 50 states and District of Columbia. You must study American, state or local history in a social studies or history class, or perform a history themed service learning project with a school, youth group or community organization. You must also submit a project that creatively illustrates your efforts to learn about, document and/or preserve a significant aspect of the history of your local community, town or city.
