The Howard R. Swearer Student Humanitarian Award is available to
students enrolled at one of the 900 Campus Compact member colleges and
universities. You must demonstrate evidence of outstanding public
service during the preceding 12-month period and create an innovative
approach to a social, educational, environmental, health, economic or
legal issues within a community to be eligible for this award.
Additionally, you must have connected your service with academic study,
developed systems to ensure long-term support for the project, and
linked service with its larger social context through policy work and
awareness raising. To be considered, you must be nominated by the Campus
Contact member president.
