The Indian Health Service Health Profession Scholarship (Section 104) is
available to American Indians and Alaskan Natives (from
federally-recognized tribes only) who are enrolled in health and allied
health profession programs. Preference for this award is given to juniors,
seniors and graduate students. This award may be renewed for up to four
years for full-time study and up to eight years for part-time study. Award
recipients will be obligated to serve one year for each year of
scholarship support with a minimum service period of two years after
graduation from the health professions program.
