Scholarship Description
The Jack Kent Cooke Foundation Undergraduate Scholarship Program
supports students and recent alumni from two-year/community colleges
who plan to pursue a bachelor's degree at four-year institutions. Each
spring, the Foundation will award up to 25 of these scholarships to
outstanding students with financial need.
The awards can provide funding for tuition, room and board, required
fees, and books for the remainder of the Jack Kent Cooke Scholar’s
undergraduate degree. Award amounts will vary for each recipient based
on the institution he or she attends and cannot exceed $30,000
annually.
The Foundation typically begins accepting applications on December 1
each year. The deadline for applications is typically February 1.
Students interested in this scholarship must be nominated by the Jack
Kent Cooke Foundation Faculty Representative at his/her institution.
Direct applications from students will not be accepted. Further
information on eligibility is available at the Foundation's website.
