Description:
The Jane Doe No More, Inc. Scholarship offers assistance with
secondary education at a two- or four-year institution or accredited
technical/arts school for individuals determined to be best qualified
and likely to carry out the mission of the organization in their
academic career and/or career following graduation.
The following are the requirements for an application for a continuing
education scholarship being considered for review by our scholarship
committee. Failure to fulfill every requirement may, at the sole
discretion of the Scholarship Committee, disqualify an applicant from
the review process.
Completed application packet consists of:
- A completed application form
- An essay on how you aspire to incorporate the mission of Jane Doe No
More into your education and/or career following graduation: “Jane Doe
No More is dedicated to improving the way society responds to victims
of sexual assault.” (500 words or fewer)
- Two letters of reference (one personal, non-family, reference and
one from a teacher, professor, social worker, victim advocate or other
person involved in carrying out a mission surrounding the issue of
sexual assault who is familiar with you and your education and/or
career path)
- Proof of academic standing (high school or college transcript)
- List all additional loans, scholarships, and funding requested, list
amount and organization (if none, state none)
- Proof of enrollment (college acceptance letter, current college
transcript, etc.)
