Description

Eligible contestants must be middle or high school (7th–12th) students in a public, private, alternative, parochial, or home-study program in the United States. Previous scholarship recipients are not eligible. The Institute is offering a $5,000 scholarship for a university, community college, vocational, or technical school of the recipient’s choice. The recipient’s school and/or teacher may also be eligible for cash prizes. Previous JFI scholarship recipients are not eligible.

HOW TO ENTER
Write a 1,500 word essay and focus clearly on the theme, “Independence Day - My Personal Day of Gratitude" All entries must be postmarked or submitted electronically by Friday, August 29, 2008.
