The Light Metals Division Scholarship is open to undergraduate TMS members who are studying metallurgy and/or material science engineering full-time. Up to $600 in travel expenses may be available to the recipient to attend the TMS annual meeting. You will be selected based on your scholarship application, academic achievement, extracurricular activities, three letters of recommendation, personal profile statement and leadership potential. Preference is given to juniors and seniors who have participated in relevant industrial co-op programs. Students not currently holding TMS memberships may enclose with their scholarship entry a completed membership application with dues payment to become eligible.
