The National Association of Hispanic Journalists (NAHJ) Newhouse
Scholarship Program is available to rising Hispanic juniors pursuing
careers in English-language print journalism. Your selection for this
two-year award is based on academic excellence, financial need and a
demonstrated interest in pursuing a career in journalism. In addition to
the application, you must include a transcript, resume, samples of your
work, two letters of reference and a 500-word essay. You will also be
required to intern at a Newhouse newspaper the summer following your
junior year.
