The National Hearing Conservation Association Scholarship is available to
undergraduate and graduate students pursuing studies in hearing loss
prevention/hearing conservation at regionally accredited U.S.
institutions. You must intend to conduct research studies, such as special
projects, theses or dissertations, related to hearing loss/hearing
conservation to qualify for this award. Selection for this award will be
based on the potential for your project to make a significant contribution
related to hearing loss prevention/hearing conservation in society,
demonstrated academic accomplishment and intellectual ability, character,
school and community activities, personal motivation and leadership
potential. Two letters of reference will also be required. Recipients of
this award will be asked to join the NHCA as a student member and may be
asked to present their research findings at an annual NHCA conference.
