The National Washington Crossing Foundation Scholarship Competition is
open to all high school seniors who are U.S. citizens and who are
planning careers in government service. Interested students are invited
to write a one-page essay stating why he or she plans a career in
government service, including any inspiration derived from the
leadership of George Washington in his famous crossing of the Delaware.
You must confine the essay to viewpoints, attitudes and purpose in
choice of a political or government career.
