Description
New York Education Foundation Scholarship Fund awards scholarships
to bright and talented high achieving individuals who demonstrate
strong academic performance, dedicated community service and a need
for financial assistance.
The scholarships ranges from $500 to $5000.
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS for HIGH SCHOOL SENIORS
To be eligible for the scholarship, you must:
- Be a graduating high school senior residing in the United State
- Be applying to a degree-seeking program at an accredited two-year or
four-year college or
university (enrollment is verified in the fall)
- NYEFS $2,000 - $5,000 Scholarship: Have a minimum cumulative grade
point average (GPA) of
3.5 on a 4.0 scale (or the equivalent) and applying to a four-year
college or university
- NYEFS $500 - $1,500 Scholarship: Have a minimum cumulative grade
point average (GPA) of
3.0 on a 4.0 scale (or the equivalent) and applying to a two-year or
four-year college
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS for COLLEGE FRESHMAN
To be eligible for the scholarship, you must:
- Be a first time college freshman residing in the United State
- Be enrolled in a degree-seeking program at an accredited two-year or
four-year college or university (enrollment is verified)
- NYEFS $2,500 - $5,000 Scholarship: Have a minimum cumulative grade
point average (GPA) of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale (or the equivalent) and
enrolled in a four-year college or university
- NYEFS $500 - $1,500 Scholarship: Have a minimum cumulative grade
point average (GPA) of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale (or the equivalent) and
enrolled in a two-year or four-year college
