Applicants for The Prince Kuhio Hawaiian Civic Club Scholarship must:

- file an application
- be of Hawaiian Ancestry
- be enrolled as a full-time students in an accredited degree-seeking program
- maintain a cumulative GPA of 2.5 (undergraduate) and 3.3 (graduate)
- demonstrate academic & leadership potential
- submit transcripts
- letter of recommendation & resume
- personal statement of how award would benefit you & the Hawaiian people
- commit to community service if awarded a scholarship
