The Talbots Women's Scholarship Fund is open to women who are seeking a degree from an accredited four-year or two-year college, university or vocational-technical school. To be considered for this award, you must be a woman who has earned a high school diploma or GED at least 10 years ago. The award requires you to submit an essay and transcript with the application. Scholarship selection is based on a number of criteria, including financial need, your academic record, scholarship essay, potential to succeed, leadership and participation in community activities, honors, work experience, a statement of educational and career goals and an outside appraisal.
