Description The scholarship is awarded to high school Seniors and college students currently in their Freshman, Sophmore or Junior year. Winners will be selected based upon demonstrated leadership, community service, character, academics and potential to improve the quality of human life.

The Carpe Diem Foundation’s mission is to identify, honor and assist the best, brightest and most altruistic college students in the United States. The Foundation offers recognition and scholarship support to deserving students.
Scholarships are divided into six categories to target students that excel in specific areas:

• Political Science
• Pre-Med, Biomedical Engineering, Biology or Chemistry
• Science and Technology
• Education
• Art and Architecture
• Music Performance or Composition

Grants for the 2004-2005 academic year will be $2500-$5000 and are usable for tuition, room and board, books or other academic expenses.
