Description Any agriculture student presently enrolled, or who will be enrolled any time during the coming school year in studies related to the agricultural industry should consider applying for a UAL/UABT scholarship. Only students presently residing in the United States, Canada and Mexico are eligible for the UAL/UABT scholarship program.

The Requirements for applying for a UAL or UABT Scholarship:

Be sure all items specified in the application checklist are included in your submission. Incomplete or incorrectly completed applications will not be considered.

An essay is required. It must be only two pages in length, typewritten and double-spaced. A one page bibliography must accompany your essay.

THE TOPIC FOR THE ESSAY CAN BE FOUND IN THE SCHOLARSHIP SUBMISSION SECTION AT

-A minimum 2.5 GPA is required to be eligible for a scholarship.

-Three letters of recommendation are required - one from a teacher, one from an employer and one from a volunteer organization with which you have been associated.

-A one-page typed resume of any educational, work, community or extra curricular activities that you feel you'd like the scholarship committe to know about.

Completed applications must be received at United Agribusiness League offices no later than March 31st.
