Description:
The Alberta E. Crowe Star of Tomorrow Award annually recognizes
star qualities in a female high school or college student who competes
in the sport of bowling. The award winner will receive a $6,000
scholarship, which is renewable for up to three years.
Eligibility: distinguished certified bowling performances on local,
regional, state or province and national levels; academic achievement;
extra-curricular involvement.
Candidates must be female amateur bowlers, hold a certified career
average bowling score of 175 or greater for 21 or more games, never
have competed in a professional bowling tournament (Pro-AMs excluded),
be current USBC Youth or USBC members in good standing and currently
competing in certified events, be younger then 22 years as of Aug. 1,
preceding the Oct. 1 application deadline, and have a minimum
cumulative GPA of 2.5 based on a 4.0 scale.
