| Description The You Can Make A Difference Scholarship is available to high school students who have a desire to make an impact with technology. You must submit a proposal for a software project that will benefit a charitable organization. The application includes the following: A specification detailing the project, including a budget dealing with the use of funds, up to $1,500; a letter of recommendation from the charitable organization that will be the primary beneficiary of the proposed project; a letter of recommendation from the teacher who will be your faculty advisor if your proposal is selected; an optional submission of any examples of previous public service work, particularly where you used technology. Ten finalists (5 male; 5 female) will be chosen to receive scholarships. Additional Information |
